Stretch & challenge: For each danger zone you have listed can you name a geographic location as an example.

> Where the earths plates meet, historically people did not know about tectonic plates and that there areas were dangerous. E.g. Los Angeles
> War zone, people don't want to move as its where their friends and family live not to mention links to their culture, language and way of life. E.g. Ukraine
> Overcrowded cities, people have to live somewhere. Cities can be overcrowded and have issues with crime but they are also where jobs, products and services can be found. E.g. Mexico city
> Other natural disaster areas (volcanoes) people have probably settled due to the natural resources such as fertile soil. Modern science can help protect people by improving warning systems for some disasters.
