When presenting information to an audience the presenter will want to have some pre-prepared resources to help deliver the message. You may wish to consider using one or more of the following:
> PowerPoint slides - These can help structure a presentation and highlight the key points you wish to communicate. Be sure not to make them too detailed or distracting as you want your audience to listen to what you are saying.
> Handouts - these can be handed to the audience at the start and referred to during the presentation or at the end so they can review the key points at their convenience.
> Verbal prompts - While reading from a script is not advised, some people like to learn a script off by heart, just make sure you have written your script in a way that reflects your natural speech. Most presenters prefer to have notes or cue cards to give them an order or structure to follow as well as a prompt or reminder if they get lost during a presentation.

Information
To ensure you communicate effectively to your audience you need to carefully consider how you structure your presentation. Like a good story, or a good lesson, your presentation should have a beginning, middle and end.
The beginning, this is your introduction where you include the following:
> Introduce yourself
> State the proposal, i.e. business idea
> State your desired outcome, i.e. the reason you are presenting
The middle, this is where you deliver the main part of your content supported by visual aids:
> Work through all the points you wish to make in a logical order, this does not have to follow the order set out in lessons or in the brief
> Make use of your visual aids to support
> Go into detail, you may include theory and example to justify the decisions you are making
The end, this is where you conclude your pitch:
> Sum up the main points - product, customer profile, price, marketing plan, costs, where it is sold
> Make the presentation stand out, this could be through a relevant story or a famous quote
> Thank the audience for listening and invite them to ask you questions
