Information
All marketing campaigns should be cantered round delivering a core message to a selected audience, ideally creating a link in customers minds between the product and brand - e.g. Vacuum cleaners = Hoover, or Energy drinks = Red Bull.
This message must be conveyed quickly and clearly, for example a TV advert is thought to have a ten second window in which the message needs to be clearly conveyed.

Ronseal have been so successful with their "Does exactly what is says on the tin." campaign that Brewers, Northern Monk, have recently partnered up with them to name their best bitter!
Task 2
Working in teams of no more than three identify some example of marketing messages that you found confusing. Outline, a suggestion of what the business could have done to deliver a clearer message.
Stretch & challenge: Do you think Northern Monks collaboration with Ronseal is likely to be a success or is this a case of a confusing marketing message?
