Information
All businesses make use of various resources to produce their product or services. Often businesses claim the people that work for them, i.e. the staff, are their most important resource.
The Human Resources (HR) is the functional area charged with looking after the people that work for the organisation. Wise organisations look after their staff on the basis that if they are well trained and committed to the aims of the business, the organisation is more likely to be successful.
